Jo's Motel, Campground & Organic Grocery and Deli is currently looking for
summer and long-term help.
Does working as part of a cheerful, high-paced team offering organic food and lodging
at Oregon's only National Park
sound like a good way to spend the summer?
All staff share in housekeeping/laundry and grocery/deli/front desk work.
Starting pay: $8.50. Overtime possible or even necessary.
In summer, we offer a private room in a shared house with a large kitchen
($300/person/month including power and water)
or a 30-amp full hook-up RV
site
($200/month
- well-maintained rigs only, please).
10% discount in the store (sorry, not alcohol or tobacco)
50% off in the deli when on
shift (10% when not at work)
Rooms and office/grocery/deli are kept in
like-new condition with only
naturally derived and non-toxic cleaning products.
The grocery and deli sell only
wholesome local and organically grown food.
backpacking, biking, fishing
and cross-country skiing at Crater Lake and around the Wood River Valley
philosophical conversations and exposure to people from
all around the world
and darned great organic food
There's
no public transportation, so bikes are encouraged.
We'll provide transport at the beginning and end of your employment
between here and Klamath Falls Amtrak station,
bus station, or airport.
A daily bus runs between Medford/Ashland and Klamath Falls.
