PLEASE NOTE: our vintage 1947 motel was not built to ADA standards.

  • TRAVELING PARTY:

    • One or two adults only (over 18).

    • No kids or pets.

    • One unit per acquainted party.

    • If your party differs, your reservation won’t be valid, and any payments already made will be retained.

  • REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY:

    • Jo's is private property - rooms, campsites and fenced grounds are for registered guests only.

  • PAYMENTS:

    • When you book, we’ll take a non-refundable deposit of 15% of your total stay.

    • Each night’s deposit applies in full to that night’s stay, but it Isn’t refundable for any unused or cancelled night or if you don’t come in by check-in time.

    • We’ll apply a deposit to a change of date within one year of your booking if we have availability.

    • You’ll pay your lodging balance and show photo ID when you check in.

    • You can pay your balance with a Credit or Debit Card or Cash.

    • EBT is welcome in the grocery.

    • We collect 9.5% lodging tax on all rooms, RV sites, and campsites (Klamath County 8%-Oregon 1.5%).

    • Your credit card is security for loss or damage.

  • CHECK-IN DEADLINE:

    • Your reservation only holds your room until 7 pm.

    • In an emergency, phone to request a short extension.

    • At 7 pm, if you haven’t called or arrived, you’ll be a “No Show”, which will cancel your reservation.

    • Check in during office hours (noon to 7 pm).

    • On the morning of arrival, you can phone to request an earlier check-in time.

    • If you’ll be going to Crater Lake the day you come, we suggest you come through Fort Klamath on the way there and check in beforehand - that way you won’t miss the 7 pm cutoff. Stay at Crater Lake as long as you like to eat, watch the sunset and look at the stars!

  • CHECK-OUT:

    • Check-out time is 11:00 am - late check-out isn’t available.

  • PHONE HOURS:

    • 12 noon - closing. We may not be available by phone before opening or at night, so please leave a message.

    • In an emergency, call 911.

  • PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION AND GEAR:

    • No outdoor gear in rooms: the vintage knotty pine rooms just can’t handle outdoor gear like coolers and ice chests, backpacks, bicycles and bike gear, motorcycle luggage, camping gear, sleeping bags, skis, etc.

    • Room guests need to travel in a private enclosed vehicle in which they can lock those items.

  • ON THE ROAD OR THE TRAIL:

    • We don’t rent rooms to through-bikers, through-hikers, or others who need to bring outdoor gear into the rooms - but our campground welcomes you until 6:30 pm, first come, first served.

  • ONLY JO’S BEDDING IN ROOMS:

    • For sanitary reasons, no personal pillows, blankets, bedding or other personal furnishings can come into your room.  We're happy to provide extra blankets and pillows. Please ask!

  • QUIET HOURS:

    • Quiet hours are all day long - please, no amplified sound that can be heard in another room or campsite or in common areas.

  • SMOKING POLICY: 

    • ALL ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING.

    • Smokers are welcome, but only outdoors at least 10 feet from any building entrances other than your own. 

    • Please be considerate of others at all times, don’t smoke in dry grass or brush, and pick up your butts.

    • Adult (21+) recreational use of cannabis is legal on private property in Oregon.

  • REFUNDS:

    • No refunds for early departure.

  • LEAVE IT AS YOU FOUND IT:

    • Please don’t move furniture, fixtures or appliances indoors or on the grounds.

  • COOKING AND DISHWASHING:

    • Indoor cooking in kitchens and microwaves only.

    • Campstoves on picnic tables only.

    • Firerings have picnic tables and grates for pots, pans and food and they’re for all guests.

    • Please wash dishes only in kitchens or in the campground sink in site 6, not in the bathrooms.

  • LAUNDRY:

    • Jo's has no public laundry.

    • Please don’t wash or hang laundry in rooms or the campground.
